Museum of Railway Engineering

The branch of the Museum of History of the North Caucasian Railway opened in 2003 on the western outskirts of Rostov, at the station Gnilovskaya. The total length of the exhibition routes is almost two thousand meters. The collection of the old rolling stock was assembled for twenty years by enthusiasts and workers of the railway. Today the museum has more than 50 locomotives, electric locomotives, wagons and track equipment, most of which are preserved in a single copy or bear an important historical burden. For example, here you can see a mechanical semaphore, a Romanian tank in the mid-19th century, a military motorbike, a 45-ton crane in 1935, and much more - you can not only touch all the artifacts, but also climb inside.
